Anyone have any pictures of the engines by their lonesome? If the XT engine will work in the TW and just needs a longer shaft, I can have one machined pretty cheap or even an adapted made.

I guess I would like to see what it TAKES to get one of these to fit.

I put the gearbox XT 225 6 speed, in a motor TW125 ...

This requires making a new axis of gear ...

How have you set the chain ratio? By that I mean have you got an extra gear higher than the old 5th gear or a 1st lower than the original or have you set it as a bit of both? I appreciate that yours is the 125cc.

I would be very happy with a 6th gear higher than present 5th.

I don't think it needs another gear, it can barely pull 5th now, it needs another cylinder more.

christddel's engines usually have a larger displacement too (up to 300cc for now, if I recall correctly)

Yes, Very true, my engines are (often) more than 200cc

No problem for make an engine 230,236,243,259cc

More difficult "$$$..." to 270,289cc

It's bigger 300cc engine for TW ...bore 77mm, stroke 64,5mm = 300,2cc

It is in the workshop, several technical problems, and it will turn ...
