I'm really happy with these soft coolers. In the boat or on the bike they just plain work and last. And now they are priced 1/2 off the regular price. Great Xmas gift. Check out my post over at: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=637453. Capt D.

Those are great coolers for motorcycles, I've got the 6 pac and 12 pac.
I, too, just ordered a 6 and a 12. I've had my eye on those for a long time but could never come up with the justification I needed to actually get one. Now I have two on the way. What a deal!
THANKS for the heads up on the cooler sale . I picked up some coolers and ice packs, what a killer deal.
After placing my order, I measured a beer bottle and realized that when they say "6-pack", they are definitely talking about six cans. I almost always use bottles, so I sent an email to Polar Bear. They changed the order to 2 12-packers and I got them later that week. Gave one as a gift and I'm looking forward to having a good reason to use mine. These things are really thick. I'm not surprised that they insulate so well. Of course that means that they'll take up more room when they're packed away, but on the packsize/utility scale, they're far worth the extra space.

Yep for 6 beer bottles and ice you'll want the 12 pack size. For lunch or snacks I'll take my 6 pack cooler. For long day trips, overnight camping/trips I'll bring the 12 pack size which seems to be the most common size for motorcyclists. For the boat I use the 24 pack size. And they are also very good at keeping food warm. Warm is good this time of year.... Capt D.
This sale is now on again for the 2011 holiday season. Follow the steps above to get 1/2 off. The 12 pack size is the most common size for motorcycles. Capt D.
