Kris, What rack do you have on the front?
It's the MotoJack Rack. In the past, I only used it when hauling on the rear of the truck but thought I'd try it out on the front. I'll have my standard hitch carrier stowed in the back just in case this doesn't work out. Drove a test run the other night and it seems fine.

Oh no! say it isnt so. you've gone over to the dark side o_O What did you always used to call those things? Golf carts? Trail Churners?
😂 I still call them golf carts. We named our golf cart “Casper” in remembrance to the old PGA golfer Billy Casper. Only us old people would know who he was. 🏌️‍♀️Actually it from Casper the Ghost because ours is gray but the golfer story makes more sense. Forum member Mistervelocity said I can’t be a hypocrite so I still have to call even our own RZR a golf cart 🤪. My TW is on the front hitch carrier never to be left behind unless I’m unable to ride. Hopefully, not riding the TW will be a cold day in hell scenario.

If you look at the start of the post Greg has a few maps showing where we typically camp. I chose the LTVA as Hi Jolly was over run with campers. I may move once my permit expires or stay as I have the area all to myself.
If heading south on 95 Hi Jolly has turn lane on the east side when you enter the 55 mph zone and is just before the cell tower. If heading north on 95 it is just past the transfer station and the cell tower.

Went through hi jolly and it is still crowded , but there are a few spots on could squeeze into and be 25’ from your neighbours
The entrance to Hi Jolly is right on the 112 mile marker which is on the east side of the highway.
Where I am staying you could sneak in for a night or 2 stay and the BLM police would never see you. I believe the fee is more to deal with using the dump and trash and getting water.

Mrs Admiral and I stopped at Valley of Fire State Park (NV) for a couple of days on the way to Quartzsite and did some hiking.

I did ride my TW up the tourist road past the visitor center which is a very cool but way too short of an out back just to get some riding. Me very rusty since we haven’t ridden since midNovember.
Anyway, these stealthy Big Horn sheep snuck through camp. Got the campground dogs all wound up. Fred & Roscoe remained calm thankfully.

First Qtz ride for 2023 with ejfranz, Alberta Darrel, Brlux, and myself.

Looked like Brlux was shoeing a horse. Actually, he was removing Cholla spines from ejfranz’s boot. Gotta watch we’re you stop for sure!

We rode the Good, Bad, & Ugly trail first and stopped at the Erdman mine cabin ruins and Pottery Garden for a visit.

And the “Pottery Garden” haha.

Then we rode another loop called Deere Run stopping in for a visit at the Deere Run B&B Resort.

The B&B is kinda small though.

It’s even got a 2 hole golf course (hole at each end). I played a round and discovered I really suck at golf.

The riding got a little technical at times but I think overall we a a great day of riding. Hopefully, I’ll have some downtime and get some ride videos done.

This was "Oh Shit Hill" according to the sign up this trail. We did a hard pass on Oh Shit Hill and kept going on the "easy trail".

Diablo Pass, Darling Mine, to Angel Point Continued.

Departing the mine

It was pretty washy! Tyson Wash near Angel Point. We don't have passes to ride on the tribal land trails so we had to turn around here.

There was a survey marker at the post but I'm not sure if this was the actual Angel Point. We were close though.

How's the temperature down there? Been seeing on the news, the further south you go, the colder it gets. 34 in San Antonio this morning...
We rode the past two days and it was in the low 60’s and 40’s at night. Today cold and windy so not riding but supposed to be back in the mid 60’s tomorrow.

It was gonna be a cold & windy day so we took a break from riding and had pizza and beer at the Outback. Pizza was good, atmosphere was “Quartzsite” meaning friendly but different. Don’t visualize the Australian Outback when in the Quartzsite Outback haha. We’d come again to this place.
