I would like to raise my handle bars. I do not want to replace the existing bar, just raise them. Can this be done, do they sell a product to raise the bars? If so, are the cables long enough to accommodate this type of modification?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thx.

Yes, the TW handle bars can usually be raised about 2" by just cutting zipties and re-routing the cables a bit. Here is one example of a set of bar risers that not only raise the bars, but also allow you to rotate them a little either fore or aft. These can be found on eBay or Amazon

Rox risers are the best risers in the world. Nobody should get any other risers than Rox risers, Everyone with a TW should get Rox risers.

Designed, Manufactured, and Assembled in the USA.

The cables may need a little rerouting, but no need for replacement. Get the silver finish. They look better and help more with wheelies.

The clutch and throttle limit out at 4 inch of rise rerouting the cables. I have a different brake so I'm not sure about that cable. Raising the bars is one of the best mods you'll ever do

If you are running the stock size handlebars, this is how I did it:

I've chosen the ZETA 22.2mm bar risers as the 22.2mm ProTaper CR Hi SE (7/8 aka: Seven Eighths)
Bars came on the bike from the previous owner. It is the cheapest way for
me to get the bar height I want for now, as I am not sure what bars/bend
I want to go with. For now, this is how I will roll. (back then)...

See my whole post within my thread:
