Got the screaming blue meanie (2006 TW) fired up today now that the roads are largely clear. New rear tire, new rear wheel bearings, freshly charged battery, tightened screws, etc. The only challenge was the full tank of fuel that I forgot to stabilize...the bike wouldn't start until I drained it and replaced it. With fresh gas, it fired right up. Insurance tomorrow!

After the snowstorm coming over the next two days, it looks like warming weather in Wisconsin too. Definitely ready here as well!



Now I just have to convince my landlady to let me park my motorcycle in the basement (I'm a student and otherwise it's stuck in the garage back home).

C'mon spring.. today was a good teaser, here. Bright and sunny, roads fairly dry and free of the frozen white stuff. The trails were still snow-covered, but anywhere that it was packed down, it was possible to ride on: just not fast

The sun beating down was *WARM* and oh it was nice.. c'mon spring!
