Made a short video of our 2010 riding season. Added a few from some past years, and a couple of fun and "mule connected" photo's.

It's boring not being able to ride.

You were diligent about taking camera along. Maybe because I ride by myself, I find that I seldom stop to take photos during the ride. Its usually at the end point. Spring is coming, hang tough. Tom

I always took some photo's, but it wasn't until I joined this forum that I started to take more. And like you, when I rode solo, I didn't take nearly as many as I do now. And it most cases, it's the wife taking the picture's. But I take a few too...usually the one's I think are funny, well, to me anyway! giggle.

Hey Admiral, any chance you would give a fellow Idaho rider an idea of where these rides originated? I found some of the places you describe on my topos, but I don't really have a handle on where you dragged your trailer to start riding. Particularly Bender Creek and Peel Tree, which are fairly close to Hailey. Now that I have a TW, I'll be looking for places to camp for a day or two and ride from, just like what you did at Packer John.

Thanks,

Rocky

Rocky,

First I gotta say I like your avatar. Pretty creative. By the way, my avatar is from the Packer John ride and we (me, Georgie and Truelight), are parked near the B-47 crash site which is off to our left out of sight.

Bender Creek is one of the trail heads for the Danskin OHV trails system. This trail head is just off Blacks Creek Rd, generally East of Lucky Peak & Arrow Rock reservoirs near Boise. You can reach the trail head off I-84 Blacks Creek exit. Good trail riding for someone who is better than a beginner. I say that because I consider myself a pretty good intermediate rider and it was fairly challenging, mainly because of the snow. However, even with good trail conditions, there are some steep sections with sharp hairpin turns which can be tricky. There is a mix between ATV trails and single track motorcycle trail. The single track tends to be more advanced in my opinion. I made a photo/video of this ride in the adventure forum under "Bender Creek Ride" or something like that. Shows the are pretty good, snow and all!

Peel Tree is a Forest Service A-frame rental off U.S. 93 between Challis and Salmon which we rented and was our riding base camp. It's still a good drive to get there from Haily, but well worth it. It's on FS Rd 045 up Iron Creek, with the turn off just before Elk Bend. It's also near Sheep Horn Lookout which is also a FS rental. Great area to ride. We spent 3 days or so at the a-frame and only saw about 6 people, and that was all on the same day.

Take care and happy riding.

Man, that video would be a good advertisement for Yamaha. Something like, "Where Can the TW200 Take You?"

Awesome pictures. If I ever get my TW to WV, I hope to do something similar to what you've done.

Video is no longer available? Would love to see it or even newer vids thanks
Sorry, all my pre-2012 videos are long gone. They sucked really bad so I deleted them several years ago.

Here is my channel link if you want to watch any of my videos: YouTube

Here are a couple of my oldest videos that I like. Georgie my dog passed away a couple of years ago and quit riding a couple of years before that due to old age but she was a sweet riding pard!
