not sure if this is relevant to the USA but in my neck of the woods they like you to have 'em on roads... and I like to have them to!

off road - I always took my mirrors off but indicators were fiddly.. bolts and wires..,, they didnt get broken every ride out but I have broken about 4 or 5 pairs in 3 months...

so I figured out a way to make em!

anyways my guys said I should take this off the internet - if you saw the idea - it was simple and effective!

so its good that you gave me some feedback here.... thanks!

wish me luck!

Very cool!

My front signals are now integrated into my hand guards, so no worries there. Rear I changed to LED Tusk "Mini-stalk" units and haven't managed to rip them off on a tree yet, but up here in the northeast the trails can get pretty tight, and I do some serious bushwhacking lately. Might have to look into this as well.

well I'm not sure yet!

but I think I will probably take them off and give em a spray with WD40 every week or so... that should keep it in check hopefully!

actually you can buy different grades of connector - so some exotic metal choices are available...

must 'fess up - these are going on my CRM - I'm riding a lot of steep and tight trails and dont always make it all the way to the top!

last week during an "eject" the bike rolled back on its own and broke all 4 indicators! ( as well as the speedo
)

thats when I started thinking about this!

Guess what, I broke one of my stubby LED turn signals the other day!

The embarassing part is that it was in the garage lifting the bike up by the rear

Liking your idea more and more, now that one of them is taped together
