One of the forks is slightly bent just at the bottom of the tree. Does not leak but does make it a challenge to align the forks when installing the front wheel. $120 for 2 new forks from Hong Kong and $90 for used front end. Is there a front end from something else that bolts up or forks that will just swap in?
Boats.net will tell you all the applications for a part number. The Upper shows fitting all TWs 87 - 2013, and nothing else. I'd have bet on the XT forks since that's the closest "cousin", with many parts directly fitting both bikes.

If they are not bent to badly you can get them straightened. I've taken them to a place here that does chrome plating. Should be able to find somewhere. Cheaper than buying more

I have ordered from as well as directed customers to Franks Forks for replacement tubes.
I believe he can do up to 38 or 40mm tubes... easily within the size of the TW.
IIRC their prices were very reasonable.

Do you know what year works Tommy? I'm guessing it has to be a conventional fork and custom spacers. If you go wit a 80 front end you will definitely need to resorting the 80 ford for the TWs porkyness. I bet they work better. Can't work worse

I've been trying out some not-the-most-expensive replacements to see what I like best, and while it was fun trying out the dual headlights, I found a 7" headlamp with a stone guard that got a good review so I pulled the trigger... for once it was nice not to have to modify anything...
Does anyone know of a hybrid sprocket (50tooth) with the aluminum carrier and steel teeth? I've only spent about 30min looking and I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to find one for the TW, as my work with replacing rear sprockets is limited.

I have been thinking about this for months now. There are kits for the blaster 200 but no mention of a TW kit. Is it possible that the blaster kit may work for our bikes? This may be a dumb question but it is one I feel the need to ask.
