I tried installing my skid plate the front part bolted on fine. Then when I tried putting on those clamps to frame. One went on fine the other I could not get it to line up right. The bar from the OEM skid plate hook in point was like where the hole was. Now I am just using one of the clamps and it seems fine.
Did anyone else have this problem?
I am thinking about ditching the torx pan heads for metric hex pan heads. I don't want to carry a torx bit if it started to wiggle loose on the trail.

Rounded pan head OEM bolt heads do slide over rocks & logs much better than a hex headed bolt.
I would suggest using all 4 fasteners as three may well vibrate loose over time. Thus hammer the OEM frame loop out of the way of cut it off.
