And he decides since Mrs. Zombiestomper has a new 2102 TW and has put all of 30 miles on it...she should go get it broke in. He plans a nice 'local' ride, and invites the usual cast of characters and a few friends from the fringes. Rainman and Roger got involved and made the trip interesting, as well as showed what gentlemen they are. Friends/Co-workers Vasily B. and Kyle D. came along too, Bagger and D completed the contingent. So we had 12 bikes, 9 of them TW's and 2 of the fairer sex. our ODO showed 49.2 miles. Here is the evidence from 7/21/12

A great ride with great people...what a perfect way to spend the better part of a Saturday!!

I have to agree! I was going to ask what that white stuff was on the ground. It's July! Very beautiful country. With the wildflowers it looks like it's still spring. I'm glad Mrs. Z got a few more miles on her TW. Thanks for sharing your ride with us.

Ah Ben, great photos and write up and you KNOW you are #1 with me and always will be!

We had a great time, and besides the great scenery and the great roads all seen from these great bikes, it was the folks that made it so nice. I'm not sure that you could hand pick a better group of folks than we had yesterday.

Our camera was having a bad day so we don't have any pics to contribute, but we sure have a bunch of great memories and laughs to remember, who could forget the inside of Vasilly's cooler up at the top, Tim's Moon Boots, Kyle (Everybody) bailing off into the mud all the fun going over the snow ?!? When we met the group way down below the pass, they said they heard us laughing crossing the snow!!

Thank you everyone. Tim, thanks for getting us all together, Brian/Roger thanks for being the Border Collies for the day, you both are truly great people. Bruce it was nice to look in the mirror and just know you would be back there keeping watch, I wish I were half the quiet confident rider you are. Ben, I love you man and even on bald tires the ZombieStomper Rocks!!! Mari you never fail to impress me with your grit, I think you should dub (get it?) the new 'Dub' "Rocky"! Sam, Lane, Kyle, Vasilly it was very, very nice to meet you and I look forward to riding with you again, and again.

And D, my Beautiful, wonderful, patient Wife, you are the reason the Sun rises and sets in my world. I love you even more than all my bikes put together!

Ok, everybody pony up the pics and when's the next ride ?!?!

No ski tube with us, you mean, like to be pulled behind a boat???? I think the word is out how fun/crazy us eastern WA T-dubbers are. Next year at Baggers Rendezvous i suspect he will be turning folks away at the gate...no room left!!!

Tim, Kyle, Bagger and D are the best neighbors/friends/family we could ask for...the rest of the group is awesome and fast becoming like family....i think Mrs. Z has a crush on Roger....but anyway, all good!

Tim asked if my dad (Roger) and I wanted to ride up in the Colockum area a few weeks ago. He had a route in mind and so did I. My dad and I have spent a lot of time riding in the area and we had pretty good knowledge of the roads. I turned Tim's leisurely day ride into a dual sport adventure. We traveled gravel roads, dirt roads, roads with rocks, and roads that probably weren't really roads.

No damage or injuries to report, although there were some falls, including me.

We had a great time. It was nice to meet up with the Rendezvous crew again as well as meeting some new guys.

I won't name him, but this rider got stuck in the parking lot!

Vasily brought some cherries to eat during our break. Needless to say, his cherries turned into a puree due to the rough roads. He was able to salvage his sandwich.

All-ya-all have quite the TW club going on up there. That's cool you can get together for a ride like that with a large group. Good thing with such a large group you went riding where you did with all the snow and stuff! I've heard snow keeps the dust down to a minimum!

Thanks for sharing, ride-on!

I saw you all up there. I was with the 2 jeeps, 2 KTMs and 2 quads. If you have room available, please post the next ride.

Thanks.

I remember seeing you. I told the other guys about you and how you were on the forum and they were stoked. We will definitely have to post our riding plans so you can join us next time. Hope you had a good camping trip!

We did have a good trip. Friday we drove to Quilomene Bay on the Columbia River during the thunder storm. Earlier this year we did the Brushy/ Brewton loop in the jeeps. You could do both on the bikes. It is just a little rocky!!
