I was looking at the Rotopax and I like the fact that they have designated, color-coordinated containers. I'd love to have a gallon of water and a gallon of fuel, but I don't think you can stack them on one mount.

I believe you can with the Kolpin. And it's a tad cheaper. However they don't have clear containers from what I can tell.

Owners of either please chime in. I looked on the old forum and pics were few and far between. Show em if you got em.

Thanks.

I have the one gallon rotopax gas can. I mounted it flat to my rear cyclerack. My Dad bought a Kolpin but after I took a look at it, the shape wouldn't allow it to lay flat on the rack. I found rotopax online and ordered one for both of us. They are more expensive, but they sure are a stout can! They are rock hard. The shape is more rectangular and was a better fit for me. You should be able to stack them with one of their extended mounts.

Assquach, I own Kolpin cans ,both fuel and water containers . Kolpin water containers are white semi translucent and as we know the gas cans are red. So they should not be a problem. you can get them at a few places still , but i think the water packs are discontinued so you better buy one while you can. Here are a few sites i found that still have them in stock. Good luck. BP

kolpin fuel and water packs

amazon source for kolpin
