I've got a 1995 model with a rough idle. Ive cleaned everything that can be cleaned. It will idle for a little bit, slow down, not idle smooth then eventually die. Any suggestions?

Does it run well at at sustained higher rpm under load?

I downloaded a service manual and noticed that my pilot adjustment screw is sealed. Can that plug be removed to alow adjustment of the pilot?

Yes. That is a highly recommended adjustment.



I expect there is some crud in the fuel passages in the carb. Seafoam and patience may work that out.



Might want to do the starting fluid vacuum leak test. The rubber parts of the crab and intake crack and leak.
