Rubber footpegs get slippery when wet. It was the wet pegs that caused Evil Knevil to crash at Ceasars Palace back in the seventies. The pegs got wet as he passed over the fountain and his feet slipped off of the pegs when landing. little know facts by Scotsman.

Thinking about some wider foot pegs and ran across this pic. I can't seem to find any like these and wonder if not such a great idea anyway? What say you?

Rubber pegs on a DIRT BIKE?????

Do you WANT to crash the next time you go through a puddle or a stream?

If you want wider pegs get some from D2Moto....that part is a great idea, just not the rubber.

Wow I would never have thought that...in fact exactly the opposite of what I thought. Good information to know.

If I had to guess, i'd say someone was annoyed with the little vibrations in the pegs and found some rubber pitbike pegs. Probably not the best idea for real off-roading but to each his own.
