There are some scary crashes for sure, but the skills shown at 160+mph are amazing considering the narrow public roads of this venue. No run-out should you go off-track.This video is artistic without being gory.

I could sit and watch IOMTT videos for days, and Im not even a sport bike guy. It is amazing that the dude that took out the stone fence is still alive and walking (with crutches). Those dudes need carts to push around their massive balls on!

My friends and I travelled to ISLE of Man on sport bikes for practice week 2004. The week prior is an awesome event too because there is less fans on the island. Riding around the circuit is a bit safer for the fans. I probable did 10 laps total. The police and event officials let the public ride at any speed they want as long as your not in the village sections. In the country and mountain pass they let you go at your own pace. Which for some is 140mph and that's the public going in either direction at the same time. One of these days I will post some pictures, 12 years younger 30 pounds lighter.

I brought my Ducati 996 with raised handle bars for touring from Germany. I met up with guys in England and ferried over. We rented house and always wanted to go back. I can't believe how quick time moved on.

these guys are easily the best motorcycle racers in the world...the did an interview with valentino rossi and he didn't want any part of that course and he is one of the best short track racers in the world...it takes a lot to memorize every inch of a ~38 mile course that could easily kill you as these guys are averaging over 130mph
