[Trailerpark]

I was at the rv dealer today and saw some battery covers for the front of trailers, they look like they would make useable carrying cases for the racks. $10, can take a strap, not too wimpy, and easy to make water proof. Not huge though, but could go side by side. Am going to look into larger ones but still need to make my mind up on which rack to go with first. Might be able to strap them in a frame and drop them on either side of the rack. It's probably been done but I saw them and got a little excited. Took photos but on a phone and have no clue how to put them up. Will be gone for weekend to central America will look into it when I get back.

It should work fine. I set one atop the rear rack on my XR-250 some years ago and it carried all I needed. I also mounted a water bottle holder on both the right and left side (outside of case). Instead of water, the mounts could be used for fuel bottles. Gerry
