Can anyone get a mikuni tm28-1 pumper carb and ship it to me? I would greatly appreciate it! I know someone on here must have access to one of these. I can get one shipped here for about $350 but I was hoping someone here could get a better price. Please contact me to work out the details.

Yes. The tm28-1 is always with the pumper while the tm28 is actually referred to as the vm28 and doesnt have a pumper "jet" on it.

Thank you Sebastian! I just transferred the money. I appreciate this more than you know. When you speak with the mikuni rep please find out if my understanding was correct. I'm 99% sure that it is and the tm28-1 has a push/pull carb like the tw's oem carb and the pumper. The tm28 I have currently been working with has a single pull cable on the top of the carb. Both carbs are flatslide but the tm28-1 with the pumper should provide the better throttle response I have been searching for!



Edit: After looking at your website I see that the vm28 listed is actually what is listed over here as the tm28, but when we order one it is the vm. The tm28-1 listed on your page is the correct one that I am looking to order. The thing that pokes up from the bowl and goes into the intake is what is referred to as the pumper. Thanks again. Have you tried one of these on your tw and if so, what were your thoughts?

I missed to call Mikuni.

But this isn't a problem, because I've checked the parts list/exploded view from the TM28-1.

The TM28-1 does have a pump.





I am using the VM28-418 on my bikes, because these carb fits really easy on the TW (with 5LB rubber parts/connectors).

This carb is working well, but I think the TM28-1 should be work better.



I had to reject your payment, because you've send me the wrong amount with the wrong currency.

You have to send 190,67 EUR incl. PayPal charges, because I will receive just 182,88 EUR.

To send a USD amount isn't good, because the exchange is changing too fast.



I will send the order, when you've send the EUR amount.

This is a screenshot of the "gift" option that appears on my paypal. Sending as a gift prevents fees. Strange that it does not appear as an option on your paypal.

The 'gift' option is dependent on the laws of each originating country. We had that option in Singapore until last year when the local monetary authority told Paypal to stop offering it as they did not have a license for remittances.
