1. Take the seat to an upholstery shop.

2. My first car, a 1955 Mercury, circa 1964, did well with an Army blanket over the seat. I still have one, issued to my dad, the year before I was born.

I bought a set for my 2011 Toyota Tacoma with front bucket seats from Cabela's. The better ones they sell in Mossy Oak. I bought them mostly because I can't teach my dog to wipe her damn feet before jumping in.

So, I do all the driving and the dog sits in the co pilot seat. My cover on the drivers side was great and lasted all the while I had the truck. The one on the passenger side where only the dog who weighs 40 pounds, Brittany, sat ripped out at the seam between the seat bottom and back rest in just a few months. Cabela's replaced it for free with no questions asked. Just a few months went by with the new one and again it started to let lose at the same seam on the passenger side. I never could figure this out and both sides looked the same as far a sewing the seams but it sure was strange that my 180 pounds never ripped my side while her 40 pounds destroyed it twice. I think you would like them for the bench in your truck and probably won't have the same issue as I did with the bucket seat covers. They are comfy and clean real easy especially with dog hair and are very water repellent.
