I can't seem to find a seat pan for a T-dub. Most every other part, but not the pan. My thought is to get an extra pan and send to Seat Concepts for an upgrade and keep my original intact. For the extra $20 I have no interest in a diy job, and will let the pros do it.

Any ideas on a new pan and the cost of one?

Good luck finding a seat pan. I have yet to see one come up for sale. My suggestion would be to just order the foam and cover from them and keep your old foam and cover in a box. I wanted to do the same but when you get the new one on, you will most likely never think about your stocker again. My stock foam and cover are in a taped up box in the attic.

I 2nd what palm state said. I was looking for a 2nd seat also. My wife and i put on the seat foam and cover. I boxed up the old foam/cover and put it up and will never see it again. After a few rides you wont care about the stock stuff. If you ever sell the bike you could put the old foam and cover back on.

I have been looking on ebay for a beat up seat for a long time hoping to find one for $40 or $50. So far no luck.

There is a nice seat there now (8-6-'12) for $90. Good luck.

2008-2011 seats are the same part number (quoted above). We all know that all TW seats interchange, it's just a matter of color changes over the years. I just chose 2010 at random when I researched the part for you.

Here is a link with the seat parts fiche and breakdown of associated parts and prices.

I shudder to think of folks paying 90 dollars for an old used seat on the eBay when new is just a tiny bit more. But, then again, I shudder at a lot of used prices people throw out there because they don't research what stuff is really worth. I suppose folks buy the stuff though. There's a butt for every chair in this world.

Got it done...ordered from Ron Ayers...brand new oem part...having them ship to Seat Concepts...don't have to fool with shipping my seat, and will have a complete new assembly when Seat Concepts gets done. I figure in the long run cost $75, but all I will do is take original off and slap new on. Easy on my brain.
