With the XT350 tank on my bike the seat was to long and I did not like the fit so I cut and tucked it.

I like it! I didn't like the way the suction cup held the nose of my seat away from the tank when I did my XT350 tank conversion so I removed the cup and replaced it with some 3M dual lock (similar to velcro but stronger). Now it's tight to the tank and looks much better.

Longer swingarm, shorter seat. So very "Feng Shui".

I did that I would not have a way of attaching my "tank" bag (actually a cd case with strap wrapped around the horn of the seat but below the rubber disk. Looks good tho and that's important. Tom
