Hello T-dubbers, I've been lurking around the boards for a while and have decided that I want a TW as my school/work commuter. I've been scouring the depths of craigslist for an older, inexpensive TW to serve as the base for my initial build. I found one that I can pick up for around $250. Runs, not missing anything, just an '87 that someone has been using to tool around the ranch. My question is, should I wait a bit longer and spend more money to get a newer model or am I correct in assuming I need to snatch this bad boy up and join the club?

Its an 87'. They began selling them in 86'.

Sheesh. Congrats on that find! You can trick that thing out to ridiculous proportions and still be less into it than those who have newer models, such as myself.
