Can you let us know the model Acerbis tank for the record? Trade you a bike pic for it!
yes I agree we would love to see some more pics of the tank and maybe even how it connects with the OEM system

I don't recall ever seeing such a tank on the TW forum
Quick Google finds what appears to be a very similar looking tank, but not exact.

This one is a 6.6gln for the WR450.

Here's a 5.8gln Acerbis from a fella overseas. Found this in the Gallery. Not sure if there's a write up anywhere....haven't searched that far.

The tank in the link, bottom photo, has serious potential to injure the rider in the event of just the wrong type of wreck, with the sharp trailing corner sections of the tank sticking out proud of the seat, not flush.

Inner thighs & groin, beware.

That’d be a no-go 4 me.
Good eye! May be part of the reason user had sheepskin cover on it, along with comfort. But for someone doing serious remote riding, and wanting/needing something of this size/shape....nothing a little thought & patience, and creative thinking, couldn't overcome.

Personally, I'd never add one this large, as I'd go with an Clarke XT225 4.1gln if I needed additional range over OEM.

Might have to stop by and beg for a Factory tour I have always found they make exc quality items I'd be surprised they had harmful sharp edges in the wrong places
Well, if in reference to the tank on the TW posted above.....I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with it, particularly if it was mounted on the bike it was designed/made for (which wasn't the TW). :)
