Silver Stag hunting knife,
Appears to be a "Hunter SSH6.0" model ($145 list) or similar
4" blade
5 1/4" handle

Paid $100 cash (discounted) in Alaska, circa 2007
Never used, in new condition.
Wife said she thought it would sit in a drawer, when I bought it!

Sell for $100, plus shipping ($10?)

Light enough to go first class, but probably best to go Priority Mail for insurance.

That is a "Crown" series "BT4 Bird/trout" model. It sells new for $135 with the customers choice of sheath designs. Your price is certainly fair but I do not deserve such a beautiful knife. I would either never carry it or worse yet I would carry it! My knives get abused.......

Thank you much for the info.

https://silverstag.com/Bird_and_Trout which lists for $135.

I thought I was getting a deal when I paid $100 cash, including tax

I would argue that you do indeed deserve such a knife!

However, I certainly understand the abuse part. My everyday carry is a Gerber folding knife with pocket clip ($30?) and I very much abuse it!

With consideration for Tom's input, price dropped to $100, INCLUDING SHIPPING, to contiguous 48 states.

I have made worse "investments"!

Can it only be used for hunting silver stags?
Applicable for Moto Guzzi riders!

First stag handle I have collected.

Had a couple of the Buck Vanguards...which also occupied a drawer until I gave them to two of my sons-in-law.

I just like knives and quality leather.

Used to have a co-worker who did great leather work:

Custom ammo loops for my .357, etc.

Now, I am trying to recover from TMS (too much stuff)...less for my wife to deal with, someday.

And fish eating birds apparently .....
And apparently only trout, not just any fish!

If no one is interested, my wife can list it on ebay.

She does not mind, since she gets to keep the selling price.

As mentioned a few times before, it is not about $, just want someone to actually benefit from it.

If it's not about the $ then I'll take it for free... :p

I will give that serious consideration, if you really want it.

You two are being way too nice to each other.:p
Doc, you could always hop on 395 and Sportster your way up to Spokane and take LittleTommy out for a donut. Any excuse for a road trip, right?

Nice thought, but Sportsters are gone and the Honda CB1100 would be smoother.

However, that would be a rather expensive donut...although I have not had a donut in a VERY long time.

At my age, a two day trip is as much as I am planning.

Duck Creek and North Rim (road normally opens May 1) planned for April 30-May 1...Utah 14 is a bit slippery now.

Duck Creek and Zion is a one day trip.

Did I hijack my own thread?!
