Good stuff! That looks like some great riding, but dang, it looks a little hazardous in places dodging the cacti! How many times have you been stuck with cactus thorns? It also looks kind of gnarly in places, I can see why you like that 70 tooth sprocket. I really enjoyed the videos, thanks for sharing them.

I like the part where your bike plays dead.

I tip my hat to you, that's some rough riding going on there! I was expecting to hear some cuss words a few times. I like the field of vision on the helmet mount, but the fork mount has a better depth perception, if that makes sense. Less fisheye, and you can see the depth of the ruts, rocks, etc. Overall, looks like a fun ride and you got some great video out of the deal as well. Keep the ride reports coming!

Im really liking the front mount too. Actually i wish i had a bigger memory card...then you would of heard a few cuss words and "get this pig off me!". What i posted was the easy parts..i musta dropped the bike 6 more times. From ruts, rocky ledges, hill climbs with ruts..stood the bike up several times too. The tw doesn't do so well when the ruts are so deep the my skid plate gets hung up on the edges.
Haven't ran into a cactus yet..that's what i worry about...

Next ride ill have a 16gig card so be ready for more videos...

Heres how i mounted it. I put it on my custom cross piece that holds up my front fender.

Scratched is OK. Sorry about the costly items, but it looks like you had fun doing it either way. Nice video quality, thanks for sharing it. What are you doing to protect your legs from puncture wounds?

I like the honesty of your video. Catastrophe unedited! I felt those falls!

I have some stock handle bars that were given to me. If you reimburse me for the shipping you can have them. If interested PM me your address. However this might be a good time to upgrade to some higher after market bars.

I liked both mount locations, but I liked the helmet mount better when the vegetation got a bit taller.

The trails look like a hoot. I particularly liked that little stretch at 4:29 in the second video. I agree with one of the other posters, with my luck I'd likely wash out and end up pinned on the side of a Seguro like Wily E. Coyote.

I wear knee/shin guards under neath my pants as well as a full upperbody suit and a tampon between my legs for the harder rides.
