i wiuld buy it if i had the extra dough, artesia is only like an hour and a half away. Wonder why it doesnt have a plate yet, after the 1300 miles?

I suspect this bike may have been obtained through some sort of impound process. Sometimes DWI impounds (or even theft impounds if the bike was not insured) can add up to a lot of fees after storage and if people don't have the money they will surrender title to avoid having the impound fees go against their drivers license etc. In Washington state vehicles are sold at public auction after 15 days in impound unless the owner surrenders title to the towing company to settle the debt. The good thing is the tow company probably has no emotional attachment to the TW they only want cash so you might even snag this for a few hundred cheaper. All this is purely conjecture on my part but I do have a hunch
