SOLD: Lancaster, PA

2001 TrailWay with ~3,455 miles​

one owner; bought new 5/14/02 with 0 miles

excellent condition but for 1 OEM scrape on plastic above left rear turn signal

clean, clear title - no liens

ridden every summer - never stored (I'm 66)

99.9% back roads use - too much suburbia, too little dirt

always well maintained and garage kept​

new OEM battery this spring 2012

carb cleaned of excess powdered yellow ethanol residue this spring 2012

(now use only stabilized, ethanol-free fuel)​
home made luggage rack, wood with locking American Tourister train case mounted

(the original recession rack on this forum; supported at rear by turn signal mounts)​

mods applied:

oversized footpegs - ebay style

carb main jet needle shimmed; idle mixture screw opened and enriched

#128 main jet installed

hex head float bowl screws installed on carb

carb air vent hose modified, for deeper water crossings

hex head seat bolts installed; hex wrench added to tool kit


2 OEM keys, plus key code (to order new keys)

original printed Yamaha owner's manual + 2 related OEM manuals

service manual on CD (pre-2001 + separate update)

new spares: carb bowl gasket, idle mixture screw set & extra needle washers

OEM #126 jet & carb float bowl screws

set of bolts & spacers to raise front fender

velcro strap to hold small water bottle beside headlight

original footpegs go with bike

no rust; no dings

Hello im interested. Im from the monroeville area which is about 4 hours away from Lancaster. I was wondering how far you would come when you said "local drop off"

This TW 200 remains available. I spent yesterday getting the chain cleaned and re-lubed, giving the TW a fresh fill of semi-synthetic Yamalube, and getting the battery topped off with some fresh acid/water mixture. And I still marvel how close to new this bike looks. Even the chain and rear sprocket look like they just stepped out of the showroom, except for some road dust and spots of O-ring chain lube.

NEW PRICE



This T-dub is still in great condition, has just a few more miles on it, and hasn't been claimed yet. Some tire kickers, a few kibitzers, but no one's had cash in hand. So the new price is $1,950. Come get it before I decide to keep it!
