While not as scenic as Fred's or Hoot's, these photos are the most memorable.
I rode adventure-sport trips every year with this guy throughout the west; Oregon Trail, Continental Railroad, roads that were off roads, off roads. 1,000's of miles of road and trail. One year I brought my TW200 with me, told him he had to ride one. He thought that they looked stupid, then he hopped on mine and immediately looked on craigslist. Found one and bought it all on the same day. This is a photo of his very first ride as owner of his new-to-him TW200 at his house. His grin says it all;
This photo of my wife and TW was taken on the Highway To The Sun road in Glacier National Park. There were fires in Washington obscuring the views, but this trip had been delayed because we had planned a motorcycle camping trip from California to Glacier in 2006 when 3 days before departure, our home burned down in a wild fire. 8 years later, we finally made the trip, but with the TW200, not the Kawasaki 1200 Voyager we owned back then.
This photo was taken by my wife as we waited out a thunder storm in Yellowstone National Park. I told her to lean against the leeward side of a tree to stay dry. I didn't know she took this photo until much later. The TW is in the backgound.
This photo was also taken by my wife in Idaho. This young man and his family experienced a tire failure on his rental trailer. I don't think he knew how to change a tire. I stopped to help as it was raining and the spray from trucks passing was drenching him!
This is two photos of a ride in Oregon with my buddy from the first photo. We both have our TW's and he knows some trails!
