I found a worn spot in mine after last weeks ride, what kind of replacement wire is recommended, (performane, resistor, non-resistor)

I'd try to run resistor of the same outside diameter to avoid annoying the neighbors, though it is difficult not to run solid core just to mess with cagers with cell phones.
