Hi, anyone have comments pro or con about using a ngk dr8eix iridium spark plug vs a stock ngk dr8ea on a 2011 tw. thanks for any input.

I'm going to wager negligible difference. Suck, squeeze, bang, blow. How much bigger of a bang is a single spark plug capable of making in a 196cc engine. I don't know, but my guess is not much.

I put an iridium plug in my tw, I didn't notice any difference in performance, but I have taken iridium plugs out of toyota cars at 100,000+ miles, that looked like new plugs.

My mysterious high speed miss simply went away when I reinstalled a stock type plug and replaced the "fancier / better" plug. Beats me why, but it left, and hasn't returned. No discernible difference performance or mileage either. I've stayed with the stock style plug, thank you very much. Your experience may vary from mine.

I'll give it a shot. I'm sure we have one up at work I could pick up. I'll look tomorrow.

Imho, stay with stock plug and change regularly.

Having fresh new plugs every time sure bets having an old plug that can last longer...

Furthermore no real benefit from these iridium plugs for our little low compression engine.
