A cigarette lighter socket with an electric supply of wire of adequate gauge.
It wouldn't hurt to run such a light momentarily, but extended use will drain the battery unless you do something to rebalance the lighting load and/or use a high-efficiency light, such as LED.
I plan on simply using zip ties to hold the socket on the small bar of the handlebar. The socket I have is designed for outdoor use.
I need to get out to the garage and get started on mods soon, I have a 6 circuit fuse block I'm going to mount under the R.H. side cover. Then it'll be easier to install all the electrical stuff I want.
