My 92 tw has a spray on bedliner on the tank and all the plastic. It looks good but I spilled fuel on the tank and a bunch of it just wiped right off with the gas. I was already not super fond of the color all though it wasn't a bad job, but now with streaks down the tank I've decided I would like to remove it all. Aside from soaking all the plastics in fuel does anyone have any good ways to remove the bedliner without damaging the plastics or the paint on the tank?

DOT 3 brake fluid has been touted in the internet as a great paint remover for plastic items. I haven't tried it though.
