The kids just need a quite place to practice, and maybe an electric to not disturb the neighbors:

I'm too old to learn the above level of trials riding but maybe I can put PVC pipe around TW's wheels and drift like these guys:
It is very important in California to leave helmet, gloves and brakes at home when doing this, cheap tennis shoes are a must as well as enough air pressure in rear tires to keep pvc drainpipe from slipping off. Wouldn't want too much traction, need to slide to ride with the Drift Trike Mafia. Goodnight folks, enough silliness..off to bed to dream of electric trials bikes.

Any Trials fans or riders here? I cannot believe no one liked these trials videos I lifted from Utube last night I for one am always impressed with stellar bike control at low speeds, it just seems like good skills to develop irregardless of what we ride and basics do carry over into TW trail riding.

Many years ago, I loved stand up piloting. I 'd ride a 75 mile enduro and it seemed most of the time I'd be on the pegs. Now 75 and with a Dub, I don't find the stand up riding position comfortable. I have 2 inch risers on the bars. Then again, most of the riding I do now is tar or dirt road where being seated is fine.

I worked a long day again today and then took the wife out for her birthday. I watched them all and they are amazing! Alas I compare these to me fulfilling my dream of becoming a unicorn rustler. I aint gonna be able to make it happen. Fun to watch though.

Tom, did your wife let you watch these videos at her birthday dinner? That is one amazing redhead!
Come on Tom, maybe you and I could try joining the Drift Trike Mafia. They could have a special class for us geezeers and droolers. They can't be that hard to ride, since it didn't seem to matter which way the handlebars were turned. And I have some drain pipe and old tennis shoes.
Actually looking at those electric bikes I thought ol' Dryden T-Dub could fly out to Moab with one tucked away in his suitcase. We could drag it back to camp when the battery (or Tom) dies.
After all I think Ron-in-Boise is bringing his Segway to Moab for some electro-slickrockin'

What my wife doesn't know won't hurt me. It is amazing just how many video clips can be viewed while pretending to use the bathroom Hey if she can pretend she is sleeping 3 or 4 night's a week I can pretend to use the thrown! As far as having a great wife I am guilty as charged. In all honesty the trikes were less impressive "in my opinion" than the freestyle guys. They must have AMAZING health insurance plans and balls too big for a cyclerack to haul. I would ride a damned Huffy in Moab just to meet you guys for a few day's. My axe is sharp, er..... I mean Hammock is packed and ready.
