I got the inspiration from the TW skate bike that was featured on Pipeburn (I think that's the site), though unlike that bike, I turned the skateboard upside down so it will mimic a fender. Not totally sold on it but until I find something better I'll stick with it. If I do stick with it, once I paint the tw tank I'm going to design a custom logo and paint scheme for the skate deck to match the tank and have the deck printed thru boardpusher.com

You should make the seat and a tank shroud out of wood as well.

I have seen one cut to make a tracker-style seat. Looked terribly uncomfortable though. That don't look half bad, but you gotta expand on the theme. Make a skidplate out of one. It probably wouldn't be the best skidplate, but a good base for putting it on a stand. I think someone on the old board used a urethane wheel to act as the tensioner for the drive chain when the stock one wore out. Maybe use a hacked up board on its side as a chain cover.



So many possibilities.

I'm probably going to swap it for a black deck and make a tail light using a wheel and some LEDs. Don't want to go overboard and end up with a theme bike or nothin'. I think once the tank and the deck are painted the same color it won't stand out so much. Below is a cool link on homemade tailights.

That's a pretty neat light. I was just brainstorming on board ideas, but yeah, it would be an odd theme to do. Now a board rack like Deus puts on their bikes would be great for me.

Well he used it to make a headlight and turnsignal bracket. I think its just too much work just to use a truck for that purpose.
