When I put front and rear steel braided galfer lines on my DR650 with a new rear shock and spring and front springs and gold valves it made a big difference.

Looking real good man. Here's a few of mine:

I had a tool tube on my 2009 XT-250 like your tractor tube the plastic mounting points broke and the tube went into the rear tire locking the rear wheel up, so you might want to put washers on both sides of the bolt or cut a piece of sheet metal the size of the mounting tabs .

Thanks for the heads up. It's mounted up pretty solid. I fabbed and welded up tabs for the front and rear of the tube. It prob weighs about 5lbs with my tool wrap in it, but it seems to be plenty secure.

Hardigg Storm Case. It don't know the model number off hand but I can take more pics of how I mounted it up if you want.
Thanks! I'd like to see how you mounted it. I'd like to have something a little larger than I have now. Is that the mega tube?

Yes that is the Mega Tool Tube on the left side opposite the exhaust. I keep a tool wrap in there with some decent tools and spare parts (I ditched the stock tool kit a while ago).

Also, zdiver1, sorry for hijacking your thread. Let's get this back on track and hear about those who've tried the stainless brake line.
