Stock tires or what

Very rough off road , single track mountains , rocky , steep , no mud , i am using stock tires now , 6 lbs , with 8 screws in tire beads , what about replacing the 7 inch long tube in the front forks with something like a 9 inch spring ?

Rear tire is fine if you want to keep it turned up to clean it. The deeper it sinks the knobbier it acts. Not all that great on a slime slick on hardpacked clay, but nothing works on a slime slick on hardpacked clay.



Plenty of DOT options for the front.
