Sorry. I'll have some time this week for writing. The mood has to strike me just so to pen a story as opposed to regaling one over beers and campfire. Speaking of fire, here's a story for ya!Aww I thought we were about to hear the rest of the story
A couple weeks ago, I was at the gas station filling up my wife's new Subaru Ascent. This was the Indian Casino gas station and is quite huge. Leaving my car at the pump to fill, I went in to get myself a beverage. I passed a woman filling her car and trying to light up a cigarette. As I got to the door, I heard shouting and screeming. Turning around, this woman somehow has set her arms on fire! I ran inside to have the clerk call 911, my cell phone in my car. Two cops are standing at the check-out so I shout to them, 'there's a woman at the pumps on fire!' HELP! They ran out and I followed, but stayed back since there was fire and it was gas pumps after all. Thinking back, I probably should have gone to my car and gotten it out of harm's way, but the scene was one of those where all you can do is stare in horror. The cops got her on the ground, rolling her and covering her with their own bodies. The fire was smothered when someone else deployed a fire extinguisher. Wow! I went back inside to pay for my beverage and proceeded back to my car. Passing the police car, I could see the officers actually had the woman up on her feet and were hand cuffing her. I asked them why they were placing her under arrest. They told me it was because she had been brandishing fire arms.
