Yesterday after two years of trying to connect a buddy of mine and I finally got to ride together for an hour - we rode as far as our roads go to a place called upper base - a cold war era radar support station. It was 9.6 kms from my house to Upper Base.

The two bikes are my 2004 TW 200 and his 2006 Suzuki s40

And you could have kept going where he would have had to stop

Actually, I considered purchasing a Suzuki s40, but at the time, the funds weren't there, and then I saw my Honda GL500, and I just had to have it.

That was cool meeting up with your buddy for a ride.

You could have a 24 hours of daylight ride event, make the most of the short riding season. Bikes were a neat way to see the arctic when we were children, from two years on as a passengers with our parents. Wish mother had of taken more pictures of the bikes, instead of just the scenery.
