Street tires FATT

Waiting for my crate to arrive here in the Caribean, island of St John USVI, with my 2008 TW200. I had the awesome rack from Don at Cycleracks installed before it was crated in New Hampshire.

Can anyone help me regarding tires for street use. I purchased the bike to use here on the island where the roads are ruff. ..ruff .. Ruff

I plan to order the front tire conversion from Japan.

So what street tires are best on this bike ??

Email the kit supplier and ask him to include another tire for your rear. The kit comes with a front tire and they use the 14" Dunlop K180 in Japan which looks pretty good. Read the info on the website for the kit.
The Dunlop K180 is a firt track tire with a fairly soft tread compound. It should work very well around St. John.
The stock tires will work fine.
True. I expect a TW will rust away from the salt in the air long before the tires wear out.
