Does anyone think its worth owning another set of rims so you could change from offroad to street tires easily?

Yes. I have 2 rear and 3 front wheels. Rear tires are TW34 and TW204. Fronts are TW203, K760, and SR244.

qwerty: do you swap your sprockets between rear wheels?
Now. Each wheel has its own sprocket, 50 on the street tire, 54 on the knobby. Front tires all have rotors and their own set of pads.

What about the Dunlop K180's ?

6 of one, half dozen of the other
Not available in North America in TW sizes, as far as I know. Also, 6 of one, half a dozen of the other usually means not worth a flip anywhere.

K180s originated as dirttrack race tires. Those I've seen used on competition bikes work well on a loamy, relatively soft soil, say, like a dirt oval. Those used on the street and offroad did not do so well. The tread is soft, wears quickly, and chews off in rocks.
