Hiya

Here are the pics of the modified Suzuki Vanvan 125

Fat tire

Luke Supertrapp exhaust (made in Yokohama) it's a Vanvan 200 model (domestic market) that's why fittings on the frame don't match, this will be corrected

Kijima machined alloy foot rest

Kitaco alloy chain cover

Handlebars weights are missing but they're chromed ones

To be continued

Hi

Size is the same as genuine Suzuki pipe, the only difference is that there's a big heat shield cover made with plastic that makes it look shorter.

Big tires are perfect in the sand even if it's forbidden to use motorized vehicles on beaches in southern France.

I wish they sold these bikes (the 200's) here in the U.S. By the way I was thinking, this motor looks an awful lot like my DR200 motor. Maybe same bottom end and just a different cylinder head? Hmmm... Oh and I like those colors on your fuel tank. I was thinking of doing a similar color scheme on my Ninja 500. Was thinking to paint all the plastics black and then maybe do a white fuel tank with a black cross painted over the middle of it, like a medieval knight's shield ;-)

Hi

I think it's very close to the RV200 engine, this motorcycle is basically a 200cc but export models are only 125 to fit local regulation, that's why it's not powerful enough

It would be popular if it was available in the States, problem is that there isn't any existing market for this kind of bike there, trackers are mostly designed for urban use and are generally customized in Europe and Asia

the owner of the last one is a lady aged 48/50 who wanted a custom look on her bike.

Cheers

Dragging this old thread back to life.

I was watching "Long Way Down" on Netflix, and in the first episode, at around 18 minutes in, they show Ewan's wife riding one of these. It piqued my curiosity since it had a decidedly TW look about it, but it had that big Suzuki "S" on the tank. I started searching the internet, using links to lead me to more links, and finally I found out what the bike was. So then I search this forum, and sure enough, there's a thread specifically about them. I really like the look, and the white bike on the beach earlier in this thread is really good looking, at least to me it is.
Too bad they aren't available in the US. :-(
