It's documented in the free manual in the Tech section.

Not sure what plate you are referring to. There are 2 plugs on the crankcase cover. One is removed to allow you to spin the motor over with a socket and the other is the viewing hole for the TDC marks on the flywheel. The cam/cam-gear combo will have a TDC mark on the cam gear (the gear is indexed to the cam with a pin) and the cam housing will have a TDC mark. The only plate I can think of is the retainer for holding the cam in the head, and yes it needs to be removed but if you know the cam is bad I'm assuming it's already removed?

The search on this forum sucks. Use google. Two examples (take a look at what each search box contains),

1) Simple google search for "TW200 TDC": http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=5cK&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&q=+site:tw200forum.com+tw200+forum+battery#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US%3Aofficial&source=hp&q=tw200+tdc&pbx=1&oq=tw200+tdc&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=16765l17315l3l17530l5l5l0l0l0l4l220l871l0.4.1l5l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=17aaf80697cf0ff5&biw=1280&bih=681

2) TW200forum site specific search for "TDC": http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=5cK&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&q=+site:tw200forum.com+tw200+forum+battery#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US%3Aofficial&source=hp&q=site:tw200forum.com+tdc&pbx=1&oq=site:tw200forum.com+tdc&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=52773l53182l1l53430l3l3l0l0l0l0l219l477l0.2.1l3l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=17aaf80697cf0ff5&biw=1280&bih=681
