Put a new oem pet cock on the 89 tdub
But when I give the throttle a quick turn, the bike stalls
But if I slowly give it throttle it does not stall out?
Any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks

You need to ensure that you have fuel flow. Disconnect the hose and see if you get a steady stream. Inspect the inside of the hose to make sure you didn't push the inside wall down creating a "block" in the line. Your problem sounds fuel related but there is very little that can go wrong when installing a petcock. Check these things and report back.

For the life of me I can not figure out what the petcock has to do with it. Put the old one back on? Sure it was not that way all along? Leaking petcock , old gas in carb . Might be seaform time . Alky gas can slime a carb in no time . They should outlaw the stuff along with the EPA and O bomb man administration . Might as well add the IRS and TAF and throw in the BLM

BTW I did follow your suggestion and got Zeta hand guards

Thanks...will check Tomorrow
Do you know what size fuel line I should be using?
1/4" seems little loose so I used some smaller stuff
I think it was 3/16"
Thanks
