Well I am impressed. I recently took the new TW out to test it out on some of the single track trails in the Teanaway WA area. I had this area in mind when looking for a TW and can say that I wasn't let down. It definitely lacks the power and speed of my DRZ 400 on those same trails but doesn't require nearly the work or the technical attention that a taller & faster bike requires. I think I could almost sip coffee with my clutch hand (not quite) while lumbering up the single track on Yellow Hill. I just stuck it in first gear and let that big rear meat do its' work. If the power started to bog on a steep section a simple flick of the clutch quickly brought it back into line. Between the rack carrying capabilities and the ease of tackling technical terrain I can't imagine a more capable bike.
