Well I am impressed. I recently took the new TW out to test it out on some of the single track trails in the Teanaway WA area. I had this area in mind when looking for a TW and can say that I wasn't let down. It definitely lacks the power and speed of my DRZ 400 on those same trails but doesn't require nearly the work or the technical attention that a taller & faster bike requires. I think I could almost sip coffee with my clutch hand (not quite) while lumbering up the single track on Yellow Hill. I just stuck it in first gear and let that big rear meat do its' work. If the power started to bog on a steep section a simple flick of the clutch quickly brought it back into line. Between the rack carrying capabilities and the ease of tackling technical terrain I can't imagine a more capable bike.

What, no pictures!? You'll find that the TW is a wonderful bike to have in almost every area of Washington, except for sand. Either the bike has trouble with it or maybe its just me!

Pictures are required or it didn't happen! I live in WA too and am always looking for new places to check out. I think I am going to Capitol Forest this weekend. If I do, I will certainly take pics. BTW, for fellow WA riders, there is a poker run sometime in August through Capitol Forest... I'll try to find the specifics and post them.

I'm stumped on the image thing on this site. I stumbled all over the help menu trying to find a way to upload a photo directly from my computer but could only find the option to insert a link to a web based photo?? Do you guys know if you have to use a web photo server to make this stuff work on the site or is there a way to upload from your computer files?

You can't upload photos from your computer. It's the worst thing about this site. You have to use a web photo server.

Heff, as Chip mentioned you will need a web host like photobucket or picasa, which are free. I believe "hosting" photo's from a web host helps save bandwidth or server space (or both), on this forum host web server. For help posting photo's/video, visit test forum thread and the help posting photo's thread is "pinned" at the top.

Once you get the knack of how to do it, posting photo's will become second nature. Hope to see photo's soon.
