At $4.49 to $5.19 a gal of gas (as of Sat.) in my area of So. Cal. and getting about 80mpg just another of the many reasons owning one on these bikes is so great. What is costs me in gas to drive my truck for one week I can ride my TW for a month!!!

I need to get my TW back together so I can take advantage of it's gas sipping nature!!!

I save some $$$ riding to work and it is only 4.5 miles each way.

Time will tell,but, folks WILL get the picture as gas prices continue to rise.......smaller,is now better.

Can $10 per gallon be very far off in the future? I think not! Just 4 years ago it was $1.84 per gallon. 4 years from now ????????????

Yesterday I filled up at $1.50 per litre or $6.00 per US gallon for premium.I have commuted all summer on the TW.At 80 plus mpg compared to the 18 miles per imperial gallon that my truck gets I am going to miss commuting regularly on the TW now that winter is approaching.

On the other hand the TW will eventually pay for itself with the money saved on gas,all the while having a blast.



When gas prices get to 10 bucks per gallon maybe I will stud a set of tires,add a sidecar,put on a snowmobile suit and ride all winter long.

There is a dealer just over the hill in Scott"s Valley. Next time I am close I will have to stop in and look at one.

My tw even at 60-90 mpg hasn't saved me any money on fuel, I find alot more places to go than i would in my corolla!
