I just ran into this product.



Anyone using it? Any comments on performance.



Looks pretty nice at first take.

It seems like the video would be much more shaky that what is seen here. I'm guessing that perhaps an extra-wide angle lens takes some of that out of it?

Probably so, but body mounting cameras works better than mounting to the bike unless you can afford commercial gyro stabilization. Also the new video editing software today has a stabilization feature that can remove video shake within limited parameters and I'm sure that before they post their videos they run it through that software. Check out the motorcycle on the track video pretty good. Also Gerry Mr Gizmo uses a Kodak Video camera body mounted and his vids look pretty good.

Mike, that camera looks very nice. I am especially impressed with the remote as it does not seem to need to be pointed "at" the camera. I also like the power saving mode that turns off the screen but still keeps the camera on and ready.



My only 'criticism' would be that the unit is of horizontal design. So for a chest mount it will need to be narrow and stick out, and as well, be supported. In my opinion, all very do-able in a safe (small impact footprint) way.



Since, by accident I moved toward the verticle (Kodak) style, I can appreciate the verticle design. Sure looks sweet......... Gerry

I think this camera lends itself to a helmet style mounting system. This way you can rotate it forward to back view or even various side views as well.



The remote probably needs to be mounted somewhere for left hand use.



The big problem I see is getting the camera to look at what you want to see in the lens since you have no LCD to look at. My older cameras, I always had a visual display to monitor. But I think that because the lens is quite wide angle that might not be an issue.



Another problem I have with most of these small cameras is that the quality of image as you move to infinity generally is not very good but this camera for its small size seems to handle this pretty well.



Also the features on this camera are very impressive.



The OEM recommends a Class 6 SD card for this Camera -I don't know what those cost.

The desert pro truck had several hard mounted for the different shots. I couldn't believe the lake of shake/vibration. Nice unit indeed. Get one an let us know how well it works!
