Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever gotten a ticket while riding their T-Dub? I recently sold my 89 XT350 and kept the T-Dub thinking I'll never get a ticket on it. So far so good!!

I got pulled over once for speeding. It was at the change of season and I pretended to be REALLY cold and they let me go.

I also got pulled over once on my way deer hunting. I had my climber on my back and my gun across the mirrors. I though he was going to say something about the gun. Turns out he just wanted to check out the bike, said he had never seen one with such a huge back tire.

Hey, my wife is having that change of season too. Maybe she can use that as an excuse too - I'll have to mention it to her - or NOT!

Not yet (knocks on wood). I work real close to a CHP hub and two guys on the big beemers hit a light with me. They pulled up along side and asked some questions. I was surprised being "bike guys" neither of them really knew what it was. They were cool.

I anticipate the possibility of getting a speeding ticket on mine.. yes even on the highway. My Tdub has a race built yz250f engine in it and I gotta tell ya... once I get the front end shimmy worked out (steering stabilizer, front end geometry, extended swingarm etc..) I'll be seeing just how fast mine can go. I'm betting it will push 80 miles an hour give or take, just NOT ready to try and top it out yet until I sort out the front end.

Not to be a negative Nelly but I'm not a fan of police who abuse their power. Whether it was to eyeball/compliment my bike or not, I would have reported such admitted behavior accordingly.

^ I got stopped by a Dodge Dakota driver wearing Harley gear. Talk about abuse.
