Not much left to show you all of this area, but this is one of the lower canyons that has a seasonal creek running through it. It rained on Sunday, and this canyon is usually left open unless there's enough rain to cause flash floods. I escaped work an hour early and got a couple of hours in, so I'm a happy lad right now. Enjoy.

Somewhat favorable conditions

The creek flowing after the rains

Previous flash floods have taken out these trees

A little bit wet

Nice that you could fit a ride in after work. Kinda satisfies the riding bug. Until tomorrow anyway! Fun going through the water isn't it?
Well, if it ain't too deep that is.

Nice area to ride in. My local training area doesn't have tree's. I like tree's.

Thanks for sharing.

Boy, you sure know all the nice S. Cal. places to ride. The area is so green. With those rain clouds, kinda looks tropical. Bet it's a whole nother world in mid August. Glad you got a break from your routine. Thanks. Gerry

Thanks Gerry. Actually, most of my pictures these days have all been of the same mountains, just different locations and altitudes, so different species of plants & trees. This canyon probably starts at about 1000 feet above seal level. It's close to home so I spend a lot of time there. Like Admiral does of his back yard, I think of this as my training grounds... just a place to get away to

Mrdna, thanks for the cool pics!! We need to have a S. Cal TW ride with the members down here.

I'm ready! Hoping to be able to get out and meet some of you folks this spring and summer for sure. I'm watching the forums for events. Mine are always short notice, but I'll make it out there when I see something that works with my schedule.
