Just some clips from an extended single track trail, #66 which is part of an extensive ORV area usually called Burlington Ridge around the 5,000 elevation.
We rode chunks of it over a two day period, but never completed the loop. This was but one of many options. :)
I did not think the single track riding was as difficult as some internet reviews imply. I think this video of Boarder255 and I makes it all look pretty tame. Maybe we just chose the easy trail.:p Apologies for the low fidelity.

From what you are showing in the video, I like "Route 66" :p. Where did you bend your shifter at? Before the video, I was expecting some kind of heinous boulder filled tree root infested nightmare trail. Of course, maybe you're not showing the nastiest parts. Looked fun but I'm reminded of the photos of Rider21 and Boarder255 collapsed on the side of the trail so it must be hard eh? :D

I managed to find the only real boulder along the #66, a medicine ball of granite hiding under a leafy bush on the inside of a left hand turn when we were pretty far out from camp.
This customized the shifter enough to suggest it was perhaps time to think about heading home, and that we could always finish the #66 loop some other day.
The beauty of the area is that what seems like every mile or so the #66 would cut a smooth logging road giving an opportunity to take an easier route. We took one of these but soon it cut a branch of the #66 again and we jumped back the single track. Fiiguring as long as I was relegated to first gear might as well saw that handlebar around four score and seven more trees on the way back.

On a side note Mr.Gizmo’s Tri-Z front suspension and Blaster shock really shined on this trip. The smooth logging roads had water bars that I could loft the wheel over at speed. The cushy landings were a vast improvement over the hasher hits delivered by the stock 6 inch travel forks. Similariy surprise encounters at speed with ruts had me more in control and thus safer. I have concluded that I if my bike has an imbalance of capabilities I would rather have more suspension than more motor.
