My TW 125 is not starting up and I'm having trouble locating the problem.

I press the ignition switch and the only form of life comes from the starter relay clicking. The battery is charged to capacity (verified by a multimeter and full bright light when using the ignition).

Wondering if anyone has any ideas or past experience with this kind of problem?

Connect your multimeter to the battery, voltage should be over 12V, then turn on, press the starter and see what the voltage drop is. If it goes down to 9-10 volts it's the battery.

Also check the terminals are clean and tight.

When you have fixed it don't just disappear, let us know because it helps other with a similar problem.

Results = 12.5v across the terminals awhen ignition not pressed. When I turn on the ignition it drops to 12.05v. Which means the battery isn't the problem right? I've decided to buy a new battery anyway because the - terminal has all this white crap all over it which can't be good.

All that white crap is corrosion, easily cleaned off with baking soda paste and an old tooth brush. That white crap just might be the problem.

Could I replace the starter motor with one from a different Yamaha bike? Because the XT 125 starter motor looks exactly the same as a TW 125s.

I don't know about the newer XT125's with electric start, I think they have a different design of engine.

(I may be wrong there)

But if your looking for second hand I am fairly confident that an SR125 starter will work or an XT225 Serow.
