Thx for the response all

@Adam,

I got my hands on a TW fender wich allready was cutted off on the frontside. The guy who original cutted the fender had made a straight cut in front and no cut off the back.

I wanted to make a short fender wich was round in front and in the back but that was a difficult task because there was not enough fender left on the frontside to do so

I placed my ori fender over the "cut"fender to get the blueprint ( don't know how to explain
). My English is not so perfect
but if you have questions, just ask

This is the short front :

Here you can see the back of the frontfender where the round cut was possible. On the front you see it is more straight sadly
We could not make a nice round cut, then there was barely

any fender left

And this is the only pic I have from the frontlight. If you want I will try to snap some more pics in the weekend

Looks nice. I like the sleek pipe without muffler.

Thx

I got the pipe from a tw site on the internet for a nice price.

It goes under the bike and pops up in front of the rear tire.

The only problem was that it was unbelievably..........LOUD !!

No silencer would shut it up
I first tried a 20 cm silencer and it still was to much, i got a headache riding on it

Also, the silencer was no good for the exhaustflow of the engine, the bike was like holding back.

so at the end I stuffed it with some very crude steelwool and a universal DB killer so the airflow stayed optimal.

Now it still sounds reasonably loud but very low so its a nice deep sound instead of the overkill noise it was before.

Hotglasswing This place sells fenders. I got mine in Japan, but this is the same almost

Also looks nice that fender - only not short enough for me.

Thx for the Site Risin
but I live in Europe - same cost for me as it comes from the US.

Do you sell tw parts or do you just know a lot of contacts ?

As I remember well you sometimes post stuff from Kitaco or Takegawa, I really like what these brands have for the TW.

Or am I mistaken you with somebody else ?

Great looking bike!!

I am looking for a shot fender as well, let me know what you find.

Did you custom fab the tail light section? I would love to see a closeup if you have it!

Great work,

Adam

better picture of the front light.

I'm gonna lower the winkers ( there a second mounting point under the point they are now ) because I think it's going to look better.

and I painted the engine " Yamaha " in red

The short fender looks great! Does it still stop water being kicked up?

Thank you for the pictures!!

To be honest, I have no idea
I don't use the bike on a daily base and when it rains I won't take it out for a ride.

If water is a concern I think you best keep the ori full fender.

Shorter is logically less protective for water I guess, I never tried it.

hmz, not a bad idea

I don't know an angle grinder ( my english is not perfect) so I have to look that up.

thx for the suggestion.

I was also thinking to make a front light like the TW Stealth you find on the internet but I would like to create a more tracker style look....

Don't know if that is going to look good.....
