Worked at the rally for a few days this year.

Was the only TW parked in town for almost a week.

On the last day I saw another TW driving down main street.

So we had a TW rally in sturgis this year.

Wonder if it was any one on the forum?

How about coming to biketoberfest in Daytona Beach? I live here and would love to have some members show up.

I'd think you have to be pretty confident in your manhood to be riding a TW in Sturgis during Bike Week. Heck, any kind of Yamaha might leave you "suspect" with the Hog riders, but a little 200 ? You're gutsy dude...!

Most of the real bikers are interested in the tw and the large tires.

The ones that hold up there noses at other bikes are just posers

and i have more miles on the tw than they will ever have on all there bikes.

I figured out the other day that i have over 400,000 miles total on bikes.

Like you, I was stopped and asked all sorts of questions over the weekend at Bristol. We went for the race, and brought the TW along on a rack on the Motorhome, which was the intended use for the TW.

All sorts of guys, who mostly had quads, golfcarts or street bikes of different sorts, were interested in what it was, how much, and all the other questions. I let a few take a ride, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more next year
One of the guys, who even had his rig decked out in HD colrs and logos, was considering getting one as a daily commuter. He figured it'd pay for itself in gas and maintenence!

I was there for Thur/fri/sat/sun... left by late Monday afternoon.

I may have seen you. I did see 2 TW's there and really wished I had brough mine. I stayed out at Glencoe (this was my first visit to Sturgis for bike week). the TW would have been a great help in just general tranport. I walked or rode the shuttle bus and put in wayyyyyy too many miles on my hoofs in 5 days! The TW could have been parked most anywhere and I do not think anyone would have bothered it!

The speed limit all around there is 35mph so no problem keeping up and tehre were so many places I could have easily fit to park (between cruisers) that that would have been easy!

One would still have to watch for all the barely able to ride riders. It would be good to be nimble!!

Next time.... (not sure how soon that will be!!! lol!)
